Bombay Brasserie, Taj Dubai

Chef Vikas has brought to life a series of dishes to tantalise tastebuds, beginning with the Aash soup (classic Persian speciality) and deconstructed samosa chaat. For mains, feast on kale and smoked cheese kebabs, pathar ka gosht (a rare Hyderabadi specialty showcasing tender lamb escalopes) and smoking rib eye in a typical Rogan Josh-style gravy. 99 Sushi Bar & Restaurant
Discuss business matters over an Omakase business lunch. ‘Omakase’ is a Japanese dining tradition which literally means “I’ll leave it up to you,” encouraging guests to entrust their entire dining experience in the hands of a chef, who prepares a seasonal, elegant and artistic meal. The nine-course menu begins with starts such as edamame and the signature ‘Capumiso soup’ – the 99 Sushi version of miso soup presented like a cappuccino, followed by plates of spicy tuna tartar and salmon flambé nigiri, Wagyu flambé nigiri and baby lamb gyozas. End with homemade mochi ice-cream and coffee or tea, while taking in the panoramic view of the Arabian Gulf.
AED 149 per person from from 12pm until 3.30pm. Contact +9712 672 3333.
Social House, The Dubai Mall
Poke bowls have been added to the menu for those looking for a healthy, nutritious meal.
Originally a Hawaiian dish, the Poke Bowl is a mix of rice, proteins and veggies that’s nutrient packed, fully natural and unprocessed. Take your pick from three bowls: Salmon (served with jasmine rice, grilled salmon and a medley of veggies including kale leaves, fresh corn, sliced cucumbers and red cabbage); Crab (veggies, roasted pumpkin, edamame, fresh corn, sesame seed and crab salad tossed with soy sauce), and the avocado bowl (jasmine rice, diced raw salmon tossed in dynamite sauce, topped with togarashi, avocado, red radish, shredded cucumbers and carrots).
