Dubai Municipality has today issued a list of comprehensive guidelines that must be adhered to once water parks reopen in Dubai. Prior to reopening, all water parks and water attractions must first undergo deep cleaning and water quality tests.
Here are some of the changes you can expect once they open:
- Temperature checks will take place upon entry to the attraction and throughout – those with a temperature over 37.5°C will not be allowed entry.
- Groups of more than 10 people won’t be admitted to the park.
- Guests will need to bring their own towels and accessories, such as goggles.
- You will be required to wear a face mask or shield in all areas outside of the water.
- 2m social distance is to be maintained at all times and children must be supervised by an adult to ensure social distancing is observed.
- Area’s which can cause crowding and that are hard to maintain social distance in, such as soft play areas and trampolines will remain closed.
- Spa, massage, jacuzzi and sauna services will not be available.
