CÉ LA VI Dubai launches a five-course tasting menu for summer

Born in Southeast Asia, CÉ LA VI honours the popular French proverb “This is the life”, creating a multisensory experience that includes remarkable food, music and mixology.

Treat yourself and your family and friends to a five-course exquisite tasting menu for AED390, which will take you on a gastronomic tour of some of the restaurant’s best dishes.

Start with warm house-made seaweed parker rolls served with European butter, date honey, and sea salt, and market vegetable crudité with miso bagna cauda.

For mains, sample one of CÉ LA VI’s favourites, the roasted scallops with cauliflower mousseline, beef ‘nduja beurre blanc and Korean chilli oil, black truffle sushi rice risotto with butternut squash, Shimeji mushrooms and Parmesan mousse or the succulent braised wagyu beef cheeks with petite glazed carrots, pommes purée and sauce Japonaise. Pair these with innovative and refreshing blends such as Thai basil sorbet, with green apple and cucumber.

Finish the meal with the distinctive pavlova, with a layer of exotic fruits marinated in Korean citrus topped with mango mousse and sorbet and garnished with crispy coconut meringue, and a variety of mignardises, such as chocolate caramel tart and coconut macarons, while enjoying the breath-taking views.
