Babyshop, the top children’s retailer in the Middle East and the most recent winner of Mother Baby & Child magazine’s Brand of the Year award, has launched a new location at Silicon Central Mall, the centre of the Dubai Silicon Oasis Community.
The 6,800 square foot store houses the whole selection of goods for which Babyshop is known, including toys, baby necessities, nursery equipment, and clothing for kids from new-born to 14 years old.
“As a brand born in 1973, Babyshop has been serving three generations of parents, giving us nearly five decades of expertise, providing the ‘best for baby’ and earning the trust of millions of parents across the Middle East, Africa and SE Asia. The opening of our new store in Silicon Central Mall affirms our commitment to getting closer to our customers, so that they can experience the joy of shopping for their little ones right in their neighbourhood” said Ruban Shanmugarajah, CEO Babyshop.
6-year-old Abdul Hadi, the winner of the Instagram contest, attended the opening ceremony with the Babyshop staff, his parents, and his 2-year-old brother Abdul Ahad. Here, he was given the opportunity to cut the ribbon to formally open the shop before using his prize gift card to treat himself to some of his favourite products. “I adore Babyshop because there is such a great selection of toys and apparel, and I can find all my beloved characters here. Batman is my favourite,” he declared.
By offering the largest assortment of children’s products, along with great quality, knowledgeable customer service, and unbeatable value for money, the children’s omni-channel retail giant leads the way. Philips Avent, Tommee Tippee, Dr. Brown, Graco, Joie, Disney, Barbie, Hello Kitty, and Lee Cooper are just a few of the world’s top brands that can be found at Babyshop, which also carries its own private label brands, Juniors, Giggles, and Eligo.
Babyshop offers a variety of options to its customers, including 100% organic clothing, strollers and car seats with international safety standards, and much more at great value. Their mission is to “give every child the best start in life,” and they constantly seek to strengthen ties with the local community.
The Silicon Central location joins a network of more than 230 locations spread across 13 nations, including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Egypt, Lebanon, Iraq, Kenya, Tanzania, Indonesia, and Malaysia.
