Learn about the exciting and creative activities that took place at our magazine-themed weekend event at Hamleys.
Families and their little ones visited the Hamleys Dubai Mall store to partake in fun activities that aimed to encourage self-expression. In collaboration with Mother, Baby & Child Magazine and taking place from August 9th to 11th the event sought to combine creativity, learning and family bonding.
Friday’s event saw kids unleash their inner editors by designing their very own magazine cover! Using art supplies and MBC back issues each participant got the opportunity to express their own unique personalities and interests. On Saturday, Families joined the vision board workshop, with back issues of Mother, Baby & Child on hand to use as inspiration. Using magazine issues and craft supplies, the children created vision boards that reflected their goals, dreams, and aspirations for the 2024-25 school year ahead. The final day saw children participate in an competition that aimed to bring their storytelling skills to life. By using prompts and guidance from our team, participants illustrated and wrote their own short comic stories with the best entries to be featured in a future issue of Mother, Baby & Child magazine.
Back issues of Mother, Baby & Child Magazine were also made available for parents to browse, providing inspiration and tips on various topics related to parenting, health, and education.
The Magazine-Themed Weekend at Hamleys proved to be an exciting combination of creativity and education. We look forward to continuing to inspire young minds and hearts in the future.
