Hamleys Play – an all-women initiative – is designed for high quality Mall settings such as Dubai Hills – it spans over 8,000 sq ft, offering a unique environment where children can explore and learn. The space is decorated with rich, vibrant colours and features thematic areas like Music Land, Green House and Water Area, designed to engage children alongside attractions including the Sand Projector, Macaw Land, Rock Climbing and a Net Bridge, each tailored to build physical skills and encourage imaginative play.
The new multi-sensory play spaces – tested and developed across multiple Indian Malls – are designed for children aged 0-8 years; perfect for birthday parties, group celebrations, whiling away a few hours together with family or supervised by Hamleys very own Play Pals.
The safe and secure kid zones encompass climbing frames, tubes, slides, bridges, ball pools and a range of interactive group experiences from dress up, arts and crafts to character visits, visual storytelling and messy play.
At the heart of Hamleys Play are the characters from the charming world of Mr. and Mrs. Hooper and their delightful neighbours, bringing added personality to the child’s experience. The store environment is enhanced with theatrical lighting and sound effects that create an immersive garden setting, reflecting the warmth of a sunny day and the enchantment of a shimmering and sparkling evening.
The all-women team at Hamleys Play are an integral part of the magic, dressed in costumes inspired by the characters of the play world including bunny ears, parrot wings and chipmunk tails that enhance the vibrant storytelling experience.
