A Closer Look At The Stars (Free family activity)

Does your child love space, the stars, moon and literally everything in the galaxy? Budding astronauts will love this free family activity. Marina Mall Abu Dhabi has collaborated with Emirates Space Agency, Abu Dhabi Police and Emirates Mobile Observatory, to bring the stars closer to the residents of Abu Dhabi.

For just three days, starting tomorrow, residents can head over to the The Emirates Mobile Observatory “Telescope built-in Truck” to observe planets like Saturn and Mars, along with some of the brightest star clusters, galaxies and nebulae.

The rare meteorite stone shows will also be on display. You and your children can get up close with the real Moon-Mars stone samples, examining these meteorites and intricate details under the Professional Binocular Stereo Microscopes provided by the Emirates Space Agency.

It’s time to teach your children all about the galaxy. In addition to the above, kids can also participate in painting and drawing workshops.
